The Maple Leafs announced today that they have signed defenceman Mikko Lehtonen to a one-year entry level contract for the 2020-21 season. The new Maple Leaf logo is inspired by the classic badge worn from the 1940's to 1960's.

The Toronto Maple Leafs join the morning TTC commute on their route to Nathan Phillips Square for the club's outdoor 3 on 3 tournament. Currently over 10,000 on display for your viewing pleasure The Toronto Maple Leafs’ logo was still a text-based maple-leaf-shaped emblem in dark blue. The logo of the ice hockey team Toronto Maple Leafs has featured a maple leaf ever since the club received its current name more than 90 years ago. The leaf hasn’t been the same, though – both its shape and its color have been changed more than once.
