Would definitely come back to try their other products.Look, this is just a humble patisserie, but you’ll love each and every thing there! Flaky, cooked nearly crispy and dark brown on the top, oozing with butter, yet light and airy.

We tried lots of different treats including the brioche, the pain au chocolate and the patisseries. The traditional pâtisseries such as chocolate in pastry and the chausson aux pommes were very good, but not dissimilar to your typical bakery but my friend...Utopie is a small Boulangerie-Patisserie near the Place de la Republique. All tasty but we found the pastries weren’t anything special! )...We took the sweets in the photo, two croissants and a chocolate brioche. There was always a line but it's so worth the wait. The croissants were good (although not as great as the Eric Kayser chain, IMHO), maybe a little too large, but the service was spotty. Now, I know there are many boulangerie in Paris, I mean it's Paris. Fabulous croissant, tarts, cakes, cookies.

Our tour guide recommend this place as having the best eclairs she had ever had and I couldn't agree more. They recently won an award for their croissants...Staying across the street, we went to visit the market outside and discovered this amazing bakery.
