Right next to the river which appeared suitable for swimming and water sports - I hadn't realised this before arriving! Many top Champagne houses are located on the Avenue Du Champagne which can be reached on foot, or in our case by bicycle. A very interesting area. Very nice place to stay in Champagne to see lots of champagne houses but you need a bicycle to going from house to house. The small restaurant is also well run by friendly staff.

No toilet paper or soap, some toilets with seats. Toilets could be improved (seats and toilet roll!) It is right on the river and you can hire various kit for this if it's your thing (we hired an electric boat for a couple of hours for a leisurely cruise up the river).
